GO Racing NZ Ltd - Performance Products For RC Racing
Who in their right mind would put any sort of warranty on a .21 micro off-road race engine that is going to be subjected to extreme conditions week in and week out ?
Well, GO Racing NZ Ltd are more than confident in the quality and reliability of the GO engines we sell, so here is what we are offering our customers.

If your new GO engine should fail mechanically within 6 calendar months after the date of purchase, we will repair, or if necessary replace your motor free of charge.

As with most warranties there are some conditions that must be adhered to.
We have listed the conditions of this warranty in plain and simple terms below -

The above warranty applies only to new GO engines purchased in New Zealand from either GO Racing NZ Ltd, one of our selected retail outlets, or one of our local distributors. Any engines without an NZ prefixed serial number will not be  elegible for any warranty.

This warranty will only be available to the original purchaser. If the motor is sold or passed onto a new owner within the six month period from the date of purchase, the warranty will no longer apply.

The run-in and tuning guides enclosed with each engine (and displayed on our web site in the Tech Tips section) should be followed as closely as possible. These are the recommended procedures for these engines to give the best performance and longevity. Failure to adhere to these guidlines may void warranty.

Regular inspection and maintenance as displayed on our website in the Tech Tips section should be carried out.
For example - fitting a new con-rod and wrist pin clips at the specified time after run-in, checking for and replacing worn bearings as recommended, regular use of after run oil.
If regular maintanence has not been carried out as recommended, this may void warranty.

If engine bearings are replaced during routine maintenance (within the 6 month warranty period), they must have been replaced with genuine GO Engine Co parts. If ceramic bearings were used, they must be a brand approved for use by GO Racing NZ Ltd. Contact us for approval of bearing quality.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines will void warranty.

The engine must have been fitted with an appropriate air cleaner at all times during use. This air cleaner must have been fitted with an effectivly oiled filter element, using proper air filter element oil. The filter assembly must have been tightly attached to the carburettor with a cable tie or similar fastner when the engine was running.
Failure to protect the engine from ingestion of dust or dirt of any kind will void warranty.

Fuel used in the motor must be of a high quality. This includes branded fuels such as Nitro-X, Byrons etc, as well as some NZ produced fuels like the Pure and NitroNinja blends.
Use of unquantified fuels such as some local model shop fuel or homemade fuel will void warranty.
Please check with us if you are unsure of the quality or oil percentage of the fuel you intend to use with the engine.

Any external physical damage (broken or dented cooling fins etc) caused by contact with obstacles or collision with other vehicles, is not covered under this warranty.

Repairs or replacement will be at the discretion of GO Racing NZ Ltd after full consultation with the customer and the retail outlet or distributor from whom the motor was purchased.
If all the above conditions have been meet, and GO Racing NZ Ltd and the retailer or distributor are in agreement that the fault was not caused by operator error, and that the fault is outside the expected parameters of normal wear for the amount of fuel put through the engine - the engine will be repaired or replaced by GO Racing NZ Ltd at no cost to the customer.

This warranty applies to GO GX, GO G5T and GO GXII-5RHO engines only
